“Microsoft has often chosen to name Windows based on release numbers, like Windows 3.1, or dates like Windows 95, or by monikers like Windows XP & Vista. Why or for that matter if Microsoft will choose the name Windows 7 is still unclear. The number 7 has special meaning such as a Gambling term as in “The Lucky Number 7″, or in early Christian Mythology known as the “7 Deadly Sins”.
