“In reporting on the recent passage of the federal mental health parity bill today, the New York Times's reporter Robert Pear stepped in a whole bunch of doo-doo. I know Pear isn't a science or health reporter (he's a government and politics reporter) and the article appears in the paper's Washington section not the Health section, so perhaps his editors aren't experts either, but the paper holds itself out as the paper of record and right now I'd say the record looks like a bit of car crash.” source...
